THE DETAILS, CLEARLY

Clarity before you pay.

Customer-fund disclosures, California restitution information and a clear route to support.

Start with your transaction documents

Keep the written itinerary, itemized price, payment instructions, terms, authorization, receipt and issued ticket details. They should identify TIPS RESERVTION INC and any separate seller, issuing provider, carrier or payment recipient involved. Ask for anything unclear before authorizing a charge.

Customer funds and the trust-account requirement

The company’s registration requires 100% of all customer funds received by the business to be deposited into a business client trust account. Before accepting payment, the business must provide the customer-fund disclosure applicable to that transaction. The requirement itself is not a promise of State approval, insurance or a guaranteed refund.

Where a carrier or an identified issuing provider collects a charge directly, confirm that recipient, its role and the corresponding receipt before paying. See payment information.

California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund

The certificate identifies Tips Reservtion Inc as a TCRF participant. Coverage requires registration and participation at sale, and the passenger to be located in California at payment. Purchases made from outside California are not covered by the TCRF.

Covered losses can arise from a participating seller’s bankruptcy, insolvency, closure or material failure to provide purchased travel. Eligible unpaid-refund claims must exceed $50. Recovery is limited to the amount paid for the passenger, up to $15,000. File within 12 months after the scheduled completion of travel, with supporting documents and the $35 processing fee, refundable in the cases TCRC specifies. Card-payment claims also require evidence that you requested a chargeback from the card issuer. Filing includes a waiver of other civil remedies against the participating seller for the sale concerned; review the rules before filing.

TCRC decides claims; eligibility, exclusions and statutory requirements apply. A supplier or carrier failure is not automatically covered. This is not travel insurance or a promise of compensation.

Start through the official TCRC claims page; check the current statute and consumer guidance. The California Attorney General also explains the fund.

Changes, refunds and complaints

For TIPS RESERVTION INC services or payments, contact customer support with your inquiry or booking reference and the action requested. Do not submit full card numbers or identity documents through the public form. The refund policy explains ticket and service-fee treatment.

For an external complaint about a seller of travel, use the California Attorney General’s Seller of Travel resources. Contacting us does not replace a statutory filing or extend a legal deadline.

A clear next step.
